Hi! My name is Setenay, and I'm a 30-year-old PhD student at uOttawa. I am looking for a clean and respectful roommate (preferably female) for a 2-bedroom apartment in Sandy Hill. The move-in date is April 1st! Since the move-in date is approaching, I’m open to both short-term (until September) and long-term arrangements. Serious inquiries only, please!
The rent is split 50/50 (total 1,771 CAD), so your share would be 885 CAD (utilities included) plus internet. First and last month's rent will be required. Currently, I am not using a parking space, but the building does have indoor parking. If you need a spot, I can check with the building management, though it may have an additional cost.
About the apartment:
- The room available in the ad is the one you will occupy, and it will not be furnished when you move in.
- The building is conveniently located close to uOttawa (about 10-15 minutes walk) and is a 5-10 minute walk to grocery stores and bus stops (depending on your walking speed).
- The apartment does not have in-suite laundry, but there is a laundry room in the building that is open 24/7, and you can use it with a coin card.
Note:
The building administration will conduct a screening process for serious potential tenants. The requirements are as follows:
- Proof of income (must be working full-time)
- must be 21 years of age or older
- must have a current landlord’s name and contact information
