My family and I are in desperate need of finding a home. We are a family of 5 including myself, my boyfriend and 3 kids with my son being 11 and girls being 7 and 9. We also have a very friendly male bully mix named Charlie who is my kids greatest comfort along with 2 fixed female cats. We are unfortunately staying at an emergency shelter at this time after giving my notice for my former place. I had given my notice and learned the place I thought I had lined up was a scam. My family is now trying to find a new home and get a fresh start. We have very little support for friends and family wise so hoping to leave Owen Sound…hopefully within an hour anywhere out of town to make the move easier and still get the fresh start we greatly need. My boyfriend and I are both on ODSP. I’m on it due to Complex PTSD and scoliosis though I have worked in the past and hope to be able to start working again once we relocate. We are a very quiet family that keeps to ourselves and we smoke outdoors only and not ones for having large gatherings. We are a very close family and just looking for a new place to call home.
