Nutshell: 40 year old disabled female and cat in need of room to rent in Red Deer.

Explanation:

I ended a unsafe relationship on Feb 21. Staying with my parents in Penhold. I have cash on me. My cat is in Innisfail with my ex and I will be retrieving her and what possessions can take. I'll be taking more things at a later date. I 16 year old son who may visit(good kid. Sea cadet who wants to join the Canadian navy. Lives in Red Deer)

He was an AISH, and rules for employment meant I couldn't work much. Had a job that no longer has no work for me and will leave behind. So other than cash I have on hand (tell you later), I'm broke. I'm applying for assistance and will be job hunting ASAP. May go on AISH in the future. My fair share will be paid no matter what. The goal is to get a place of my own.

I offered my ex to buy my mobile home cheap since I plan on selling it as is anyways. It was damaged by my neighbour's shed fire in January. Liveable but needs repairs. Negotiation ongoing. I'm asking $6k.

Personality wise, I'm introverted and very likely autistic(diagnosis ongoing). They/them pronouns. Friendly even to those I don't click with. Courteous. Compulsive/stress cleaner. Gothic metal head(I use headphones). Dark sense of humor. Artist and author with a self published novel(more written). Casual gamer but likely giving my console to my son. I like cooking and baking, will clean after myself.

I plan on remaining single for a long time, so you don't have to worry about partners. I'm happier alone. I'll casually date but won't bring them over.

I don't like being heavily intoxicated. I use THC oil as a pain killer(nonsmoker) and at most a chill bake on occasion. Rarely drink. On meds for my chronically painful condition.

The main goal is rebuild my life and finances from scratch. I'm very determined. I just need a roof over my head somewhere I can get work/resources and will start from there.

I am not picky about my housemates/roommates. My expectations are: leave me and my cat be. Respect privacy and boundaries. Be mindful theres another person living there, too. Cover your share. I'll mind my business unless it's obvious you need help, then I go into mom mode.
